The guides start the training using popcorn as an incentive. As time goes on, the long pole with the popcorn becomes a short cobnductor's baton. In this stage, the baton is merely pointed in the direction the guide wishes the fish to take. In the third and final stage, the baton is dropped (except for parades) and the full symbiotic relationship is in play. Mentally connected by a common goal, they ply the waters by mere thoughts between the two.
ReplyDeleteKind of like a comfortable long term human relationship where the female guide is obviously the best way.
